Kimagure Orange Road: The meeting with Madoka's parents

 

Summary:

Another fan-fiction of mine that take place after the Manga's ending.

This time Kyousuke would have to meet the Madoka's parents that want know him better.

Madoka: Please listen Kasuga-Kun.

Kyousuke: Yeah, tell me Ayukawa.

Madoka: My parents are coming here in Japan and they want meet you.

Kyousuke: Gulp! R..Really?

Madoka: What is the problem?

Kyousuke: I..I'm a little nervous..

Madoka: I see. Actually I'm nervous as well.

Kyousuke: Did... Did you have already tell to them some detail about me?

Madoka: Yes. But don't worry I didn't mention to them about your lasciviousness, your indecision and how sometimes you make me angry eh, eh, eh.

Kyousuke: A..Ayukawa.

Madoka: Eh, eh, eh. Come on don't be like that. I'm embarrassed as well. Since I've never had another boyfriend I have no experience with this sort of matters...

Kyousuke: I only hope to don't end up embarrass yourself.

Madoka: This depend only by yourself. Not nonsense allowed, don't make fool OK? You are warned.

Kyousuke turn pretty scared while Madoka instead start to laugh.

Madoka: Eh, eh, eh. You should have see your own face! Really priceless eh, eh, eh!

Kyousuke: A..Ayukawa.

Madoka: Come on, relax.

Kyousuke: OK.

Madoka: I have tell them that you was one of the reason to which I choose to return in Japan.

Kyousuku: Gulp!

Kyousuke worried, it was practically as if he had taken away from the Mr and Mrs Ayukawa their daughter. Kyousuke feared that Madoka's parents might hate him because she decided to stay away from them just to be with him.

Madoka: Come on relax, we just have to try stay calm.

Kyousuke: I.. I will try.

Madoka: Good.

Kyousuke went back to his house, he lay down on his bed and started tormenting his mind with various thoughts.

Kyousuke (thinking to himself): What such a big fool I risk to looks like with my clumsiness and stupidity?

Also Madoka is a highly talented girl and her parents are two world famous musicians. Instead I am a fool with little good to show. If her parents see me as completely unsuitable for her, what will I do?

What if they even find out I'm an Esper and consider me a monster?

Kyousuke was getting worried, in a few days he would meet Madoka's parents.

The day arrives when Kyousuke would meet Madoka's parents, he showered, brushed his teeth and put on the newest clothes he had to try to look as good as possible.

Kyousuke arrived at Madoka's house and ring the doorbell, he was already scared to come face to face with Madoka's parents by that time. But luckily for him, it was Madoka herself who opened the door for him.

Madoka: You have arrived. How are you?

Kyousuke: Hello Ayukawa... I'm a little nervous...

Madoka: Come on relax.

Kyousuke and Madoka came to the living room and Kyousuke met Madoka's parents and politely greeted them.

Kyousuke: Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Ayukawa, I'm Kasuga Kyousuke. Pleased to meet you know.

Madoka's father: Good afternoon to you too Kasuga-Kun.

Madoka's mother: We have heard good things about you. Eh,eh,eh I know my Madoka is not an easy girl to deal with, eh, eh,eh.

Madoka blushed slightly.

Madoka: Please mom..

Madoka's father: Come on sit down Kasuga-Kun.

Kyousuke and Madoka sat on the sofa, Madoka's mother brought out a tray of sweets that looked expensive.

Madoka's mother: You are welcome.

Kyousuke: Thank you so much but I wouldn't be too much trouble.

Madoka's father: Absolutely no trouble, feel free.

Kyousuke: Thank you very much.

Madoka's mother: So how did you two meet?

Both Kyousuke and Madoka blushed, then they gathered courage and spoke.

Kyousuke: I had just moved in with my family, I was climbing that high number of steps and suddenly I saw a red straw hat being carried by the wind and I grabbed it and soon after I met your daughter..

Madoka: Eh, eh, eh I'm sure that those steps are 99 but he would not ever and never admit it eh, eh, eh.

Kyousuke wanted to argue back but he couldn't, he didn't want to seem immature and rude in front of Madoka's parents by resuming their childish and carefree dispute about who was right about the number of steps.

Madoka's father: What it means that he would never admit that there are 99 steps?

Madoka: Come on Kasuga-Kun, tell it.

Kyousuke: Well … I had counted that there were 100 steps but her daughter insisted there were only 99.

Madoka: And that's exactly how it is. The steps are 99 not 100. Eh, eh, eh but the day you really wanted to stand up to me despite I was a stranger eh, eh, eh.

Madoka's mother: It seem that you two had a really cut first meet. Then how the the things between you two had developed?

Here comes the sore point for both Kyousuke and Madoka: the fact that both Kyousuke's indecision and the fact that Madoka didn't want to steal him from her best friend, the two of them couldn't be together for years, ending up forming a love triangle with Hikaru.

Kyousuke: I…I didn't start dating your daughter after our first meet… Well… I had a relationship with Hikaru-Chan first…

Madoka: It took me a while before I realized I was in love with him..

Madoka's father: I see.. I bet that that before officially becoming a couple, things were a bit complicated for you two.

Kyousuke and Madoka: Yes, it was just like that.

Madoka's mother: Well what matters right now is that you two had realized you feelings and get along.

Kyousuke and Madoka put on a slightly serene smile and some of their embarrassment and nervousness went away.

The evening came, Kyousuke had to go home and politely greet Madoka and her parents and thank them for their hospitality.

Kyousuke: Thank you very much for your hospitality, I was pleased to meet you.

Madoka's father: We were also pleased to meet you. Next time bring some of your relatives with you, I would glad to know them.

Kyousuke: Gulp!

Kyousuke's face show nervousness in response to that words said by Madoka's father.

Madoka: Kasuga-Kun?

Madoka's mother: Are you feeling sick?

Kyousuke: Is nothing, don't worry.

Madoka's father: So you would let us meet your relatives one day?

Kyousuke: Su..Sure, have a good evening bye.

Kyousuke start to return to his home.

Madoka's father: Did I have said something wrong perhaps?

Madoka (thinking to herself): Eh, eh, eh well at least he didn't do something like spill the tray of sweets trying to get one eh,eh,eh!

Meanwhile Kyousuke was fully in panic. At least for now his fears of not being liked by Madoka's parents have remained unfounded and he had managed to avoid appearing silly, awkward and lewd but how would he handle having to introduce his relatives to Madoka's parents?

On top on that who can assured him that his more troublesome and irresponsible relatives like Kazuya, Akane, Kurumi and his Grandpa would not do some stupid thing that would shame him terribly or worse that he would end up allowing Madoka's parents to find out that they are Espers?
